We do install GRP but our product is a liquid system roller applied with glass reinforcement.  This gives the same appearance but is a more durable product due to its elasticity and is less temperature controlled during installation.

Our systems come with a range of manufacturers’ guarantees from 10 years and above.  Insurance backed guarantees can be obtained at an additional cost.

The life expectancy of the products we offer can vary and these are stated in the BBA certificates for each product.

We offer a range of products, the main systems we install are built up felt roofing, GRP Liquid applied, single ply, metal sheeting and cladding. We also offer a range of manufacturers including Alumasc, Bauder, Garland and Sika.

All operatives are employed by WFR; however some works do require the need for sub-contract labour and we have long associated companies which are approved to our standards.

Our employees all have the relevant Health & Safety certification.

Western Flat Roofing has been trading for over 50 years and our surveyors have over 25 years’ experience working in the trade.

Yes, but the weather does have an affect which we can work around during inclement weather and our experienced team will manage the project accordingly.

Our quotes are generally returned within a week or the date requested.

All rubbish arising from each project will be transported from site under our waste carriers certificate.  It will be placed in the appropriate skip at our depot and transported to licensed premises as general or recyclable waste.

WFR was founded in 1966 as a partnership and became limited in 2010 but has always been run by the same family.

Yes, we have a training matrix and each employee has the relevant training required for their level.  They each have first aid training, CSCS cards and our supervisors have SSSTS cards and NVQ’s Level 2 in felt roofing/single ply roofing and cladding.
